We meet at a new location each month in the Portland-metro and surrounding areas. If you are new to DSNO\, this is a great opportunity to get connected and meet other moms. This month we are hosting two Yoga Sound Bath sessions\, see below for registration details. \nSession 1: Friday\, April 10 | 10-11:15 AM\nSession 2: Saturday\, April 18 | 3-4:15 PM\nYou are warmly invited to join instructor Angee Franzen for a nurturing and restorative experience designed to help release tension\, cultivate a sense of inner peace\, and support your parasympathetic nervous system-allowing your body to soften\, reset and restore. \nYou’ll be gently guided through breathwork\, and slow\, mindful movement\, followed by a thoughtfully curated relaxation. \nThe sound bath will incorporate soothing elements such as voice\, crystal singing bowls\, and gong vibrations\, creating an immersive environment to calm the mind and body. \nLocation\nA private studio in Canby (address provided upon RSVP) \nFee\n$15/session (register below) \nNote: each session is limited to 10 participants. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Parent’s Night Out! This event is designed to give parents a couple of hours to recharge while their children enjoy a safe\, engaging\, and joy-filled time with caring teen and adult buddies\, including some buddies who also experience Down syndrome. Registration required below. \nSaturday\, April 25 | 4-6 PM\nThis free event is reserved for families with elementary-aged children\, along with their siblings. Each child will be paired with a teen or adult buddy who will spend the time playing games\, making crafts\, and helping them participate in fun activities\, including: \n\nGames and group activities\nArts and crafts\nSnacks and refreshments\nOne-on-one time with their buddy or volunteer\n\nDue to limited capacity\, this event is limited to 20 kids (3 kids per family).
