SUMMARY:Family Trail Run & Hike @ White Pine Trail
DESCRIPTION:DSNO families and friends are invited to two opportunities to enjoy the outdoors with us. \nSaturday\, June 6 | 7-9 AM (Trail Run) | 9:15 AM (2-mile hike and/or cool down)\nTrail Run: We will meet at the trailhead and begin running promptly at 7 AM\, with the run wrapping up around 9 AM. The route is designed as a figure-8 loop\, which allows participants to shorten their run or drop out at roughly 2-mile intervals if needed. \nHike: After the run\, we are also hosting an optional 2-mile hike/cool down starting at 9:15 AM from the same trailhead. \nOne thing to note: trail running includes uneven terrain\, and runners and hikers may encounter roots\, rocks\, and other natural obstacles along the course. Attendees will also hear from Karen Gaffney\, accomplished athlete\, advocate\, and founder of the Karen Gaffney Foundation. DESCRIPTION:We’re thrilled once again to invite you to the Mom’s Beach Retreat\, a rejuvenating\, fun‑filled weekend getaway in scenic Depoe Bay\, just steps from the ocean. This retreat is limited to 36 moms and fills up quickly! \n\nRegistration Opens July 31st @ Noon\nHistorically\, capacity has filled within minutes/hours\, so be sure to mark your calendar. Depending on interest and our ability to secure another nearby home\, we will consider adding capacity based on waitlist numbers. Registration requires members\, so if you are not a DSNO member\, you can review the benefits of a free membership and join today!\n\n\n  \nDates\nSeptember 30 – October 4\n2-Night Minimum (Friday-Sunday)\, with options to arrive Wednesday or Thursday \nFee\n$75-$135/night (depending on room)\, partial scholarship requests available here. \n$100 non-refundable deposit required to register\, and remaining balance due by end of August once number of nights and room assignments are confirmed. \nHighlights\n\nThree spacious homes reserved\, all within walking distance of the beach\nA mix of shared and individual rooms and beds available – see layout here\nOptional group activities planned\, but feel free to unwind with puzzles\, crafts\, journaling\, books\, movies\, or simply daydream on the sand\nWhether you come Wed–Sun\, Thu-Sun\, or Fri–Sun\, enjoy the pace you choose\nUnfortunately\, we cannot accommodate nursing babies or furry friends.\n\n  \nRegistration Details\n\nRegistration opens Friday\, July 31st at Noon\nSpots are limited to 36 moms.
