DESCRIPTION:DSNO members of all ages are invited to join us for caroling followed by a pizza lunch! Come dressed in your festive holiday attire (green\, red\, holiday sweaters/dresses\, Santa hats\, reindeer headbands\, etc.) and be prepared to sing Christmas carols at multiple stops in Wilsonville and Lake Oswego. Bus capacity 60 participants so be sure to register early. She was on the OSAA All State Dance Team and continued her love of dance on the Western Oregon University Dance Team for four years. Being hired as the Western Oregon University Dance Team Head Coach a year after graduation\, Cheryl coached her team through all home game performances and collegiate level dance competitions. She has choreographed for youth dance teams in Quito\, Ecuador\, and most recently has been teaching dance classes and summer camps for the DSNO for the past few years. In Cheryl’s classes\, you get to be yourself. Every person is a dancer and has much to share with the world. She can’t wait to dance with you!

She has choreographed for youth dance teams in Quito\, Ecuador\, and most recently has been teaching dance classes and summer camps for the DSNO for the past few years. In Cheryl’s classes\, you get to be yourself. Every person is a dancer and has much to share with the world. She can’t wait to dance with you!

Here at DSNO we love to party with the holidays\, so\, get ready for a few classic holiday songs and dances. From September-October\, who you gonna call?? Ghostbusters! November-December we’ll begin “Deck the Rooftop” (Glee cast version) for our holiday close. Come learn new dance skills and routines while hanging out with friends! Scholarship requests available here. \nClass Structure\n\n“Circle Up” for our class connection time\nWarm up – cardio and stretching\nLearn and practice routine + other short dance segments\nCool down\nClosing huddle cheer\n\nCome to class wearing comfortable clothes you can stretch and sweat in\, tennis shoes\, and PLEASE bring your water bottle to every class. \nAbout Cheryl Landazuri\nCheryl has been dancing her entire life but started training when she was 12 years old. She was active on dance teams for 11 years which started in middle school and moved on to competitive dance with the Tigard High School Tigerettes. She was on the OSAA All State Dance Team and continued her love of dance on the Western Oregon University Dance Team for four years. Being hired as the Western Oregon University Dance Team Head Coach a year after graduation\, Cheryl coached her team through all home game performances and collegiate level dance competitions. She has choreographed for youth dance teams in Quito\, Ecuador\, and most recently has been teaching dance classes and summer camps for the DSNO for the past few years. In Cheryl’s classes\, you get to be yourself. Every person is a dancer and has much to share with the world. She can’t wait to dance with you!

DESCRIPTION:We are very excited to once again welcome our community to the 24th Annual DSNO Buddy Walk at Millennium Plaza Park in Lake Oswego on Sunday\, September 14th!  Buddy Walk®\, established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society\, is the premier advocacy event to celebrate Down syndrome awareness in the U.S.\, and the most widely recognized public awareness program for the Down syndrome community globally.
