INCIGHT is a Portland based non-profit that is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. Over the years INCIGHT has produced lessons designed to prepare students with disabilities for life after high school, it’s called INCIGHTful Transitions Curriculum. Pia Gilgen from the INCIGHT Education Team will share the resources and activities they have created. The series is divided into three sections: Education, Employment, and Independence, and is housed on an online learning platform and available for subscription purchase. The lessons have been designed and created with people experiencing disabilities to share their experience and understanding so that future students can learn from them.
Join Pia in exploring the resources provided by INCIGHT. The presentation will last approximately 35 minutes, and Pia will be available for the remainder of the hour to answer questions about the INCIGHTful Transitions Curriculum and any other programming or resources offered by INCIGHT.
