Resource Fair

Organizations and businesses who would like to connect with our local Down syndrome community are invited to host a resource table at the DSNO Buddy Walk®. Due to increased demand and limited space, please submit a request to be included, and we will review on a first-come, first-served basis. Please review the new Resource Fair Guidelines below prior to requesting a table.

Resource Fair Guidelines

Benefits

Gain exposure, share your message, and build your brand with the disability community. The DSNO Buddy Walk® gathers an audience of approximately 1000 people, including children, students, and young adults who experience disability, plus family, friends, neighbors, and community leaders. Resource tables are open to organizations and businesses, with a discounted rate to verified nonprofits.

Resource tables are intended to provide attendees with helpful information, services, and community connections. Organizations may not use table space for direct sales, political campaigning, or religious proselytizing. Participation must align with the event’s mission and foster an inclusive, welcoming environment for all attendees.

Review process:

Prior to acceptance, all applications will be reviewed for:

• Completeness of application
• Relevance to Buddy Walk attendees
• Value of resources/supports offered
• Logistical needs/event capacity

Applications that are approved will be invited to register.
 

Resource tables may:

• Share information, services, and community resources relevant to attendees
• Provide free educational materials or giveaways
• Engage attendees in conversation about their programs or services

Resource tables may not:

• Sell products or services onsite (unless pre-approved)
• Solicit donations or fundraising without prior approval
• Campaign for political candidates, parties, or ballot measures
• Proselytize, recruit, or pressure attendees toward a particular religious belief or practice
• Distribute materials that are discriminatory, offensive, or inconsistent with Buddy Walk’s values

Resource table package – $350*

• One 6ft table with black linen tablecloty in a covered, high-traffic area. Electrical available upon request
• Complimentary registrations for up to 2 representatives from organization or business, including lunch
• Opportunity to participate in the vendor/resource fair passport
• Recognition on website and in promotional emails
• Recognition on big screen at event

* Verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations receive the discounted rate of $75
** If request is approved, logo and payment must be received by June 30, 2026 in order to be included in DSNO marketing
