Adult Dance and Life Skills

The full experience of community building, learning 2 dance routines (Monster Mash and Christmas Jingle), 2 performances, sharing meals together, personal goal setting, art, geography, and celebrating every win! Pack an easy dinner with you, and we’ll eat together right after dance class, then begin our lesson.

Dates: Sep 18-Dec 18 (Wednesdays, NO class on Oct 2 or Nov 28)

4:30-5:30pm (Dance)
This is your dance class, so come on out to learn a couple dance routines, connect with friends, and get a great workout! The first 6 weeks of class will be dedicated to the Monster Mash routine, and we’ll finish off with a costumed performance for family and friends. On Week 7, we’ll begin a Christmas routine, which will finish with a festive performance and a holiday party! Come to class with comfortable clothes you can stretch in, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.

5:30-6:30pm (Life Skills)
Our Life Skills portion of class will combine a mix of instruction and active participation. We will dive into personal goal setting, social skills, drawing/art, and geography (U.S., World, and Portland/Metro). We’ll have a lot of fun learning together! Materials will be provided for the most part, but I may ask for you to bring an occasional item from time to time.
