Dance Clinic for Adults

DSNO is excited to offer another season of dance clinics for adults w/ dance instructor Cheryl Landazuri. Ages 18+ learn new dance skills and routines while hanging out with friends! For the Winter/Spring season, there is a 6-week session starting Feb 5 and a second 10-week session starting Apr 2. Come on out and break a sweat! Registration details below, and each session is capped at 20 participants. Contact Cheryl with questions.

Adult Dance: Ages 18+ | Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30 PM

Location: Robinwood Station Community Center

Session 1: Feb 5 – Mar 19 (no class Feb 26)
Fee: $72 for 6-week session. Scholarships available here.

Dancers will learn a modified mix Cheryl has adapted of the “Cleveland Shuffle” line dance. It’s a super fun old-school hip hop line dance you don’t want to miss.

Session 2: Apr 2 – Jun 4
Fee: $120 for 10-week session. Scholarships available here.

Calling all “Men in Black” galaxy defenders. Dancers will learn a choreographed routine following in the footsteps of Will Smith, but all our own! Pull out any black suits and sunglasses you’ve got at home! We may just need to perform this one with a full costume!

Class Structure

  • “Circle Up” for our connection time
  • Warm up – Cardio and stretching
  • Dance choreography instruction and practice
  • Cool down
  • Closing huddle cheer

About Cheryl Landazuri

Cheryl has been dancing her entire life but started training when she was 12 years old. She was active on dance teams for 11 years which started in middle school and moved on to competitive dance with the Tigard High School Tigerettes. She was on the OSAA All State Dance Team and continued her love of dance on the Western Oregon University Dance Team for four years. Being hired as the Western Oregon University Dance Team Head Coach a year after graduation, Cheryl coached her team through all home game performances and collegiate level dance competitions. She has choreographed for youth dance teams in Quito, Ecuador, and most recently has been teaching dance classes and summer camps for the DSNO for the past few years. In Cheryl’s classes, you get to be yourself. Every person is a dancer and has much to share with the world. She can’t wait to dance with you!
